Knowledge is the difference between a good photography and a great photography.
CAMERA AND LENS.
Having the big camera and long lens may make it seem like a photographer is better at their craft. It’s a common misconception. Photographers who know how to use their cameras and lens will still produce professional photos, no matter the price tag.
LIGHTING AND LOCATION.
Lighting and location go hand in hand. Big studios come with almost lighting and equipment, most you will never experience as a client, but you be paying for it. Photography is not about how much you spend, but how you use what you have. I use higher powered portable off camera flash, which allows me to travel with my gear with easy setup and take down. Still getting the professional results of a studio. Then, when I don’t have the lighting with me, I make the best use of the ambient light and reflectors.
